This year Art on a Hot Tin Roof returns as a chic rooftop party at an all new venue, Bottom Lounge, with local artists, small bites and adult beverages, music, and a silent auction featuring exceptional artwork and gifts from Chicago's finest. All proceeds will benefit The Arts of Life.
The Arts of Life has two professional art studios that support 61 artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities to engage in a variety of artistic mediums. The Arts of Life actively prioritizes the artists’ connection to the surrounding community through outreach opportunities, events at their studios, exhibitions at community galleries, and through professional artistic collaborations. For artists at The Arts of Life, a career in the visual arts is an opportunity for meaningful employment.
LIVE ART was the inspiration for this event. Watch guest artist Noah Wandrey paint a new piece against an amazing cityscape on the rooftop and then bid on the final result!
MUSIC will include a performance by Van Go Go (a growing collaborative of musicians with and without developmental disabilities across the greater Chicago area), and tunes by DJ (and renowned gallerist) Andrew Rafacz and DJ Joseph Guisti.
SILENT AUCTION will have an assortment unique gifts and experiences. Items will include: Hamilton tickets, Southwest Airlines passes, a Cubs prize pack, front-row Green Day tickets, and more to be announced soon!

In addition to enjoying an evening of treats, eats, and entertainment, you will also support a valuable Chicago nonprofit!
Opened in 2000, The Arts of Life was the first program in Chicago to provide employment in the arts for adults with developmental disabilities. The studio serves as both an alternative day program and creative epicenter for its artists. Funded partly by the Department of Human Services, The Arts of Life also greatly depends on fundraising efforts and grants to sustain its program.
Founded in 2013, The Arts of Life Associate Board is network of young Chicago area professionals who create exciting events, lead fundraising efforts and actively volunteer for The Arts of Life.
