Since 1850, Niles Township Government has been dedicated to improving life for its residents. Niles Township is located in the northeast corner of Cook County. With a population of over 102,000 the Township includes the villages of Skokie, Lincolnwood and Golf, and sections of Morton Grove, Niles and Glenview.
During the course of a year, the township helps support more than 40 (including our own General Assistance Program) agencies that serve the residents of Niles Township. These agencies provide services such as mental health programs, shelters for battered women, senior centers and youth groups, cancer and AIDS programs, autistic residential homes as well as cultural activities such as supporting theater, the arts and community events. In addition, the township is offering scholarships for pre- school children to various accredited child care programs.
