The Arts of Life, a Chicagoland non-profit arts studio for adults with and without disabilities, will once again showcase the area’s best and tastiest chili at their 5th annual Half Acre Charitable Chili Cook-Off on November 2, 2013 starting at 5PM. Like the previous successful years, the cook-off will take place at 2010 W Carroll Ave and this year attendants should expect even more fun and yum!
In an effort to build community through art, The Arts of Life artists have teamed up for their first ever Sketchbook Swap. Each of the North Shore artists paired up with an artist from the Chicago studio and sent a sketchbook back and forth, sharing their work and stories of art making. Learn more about the process of mutual inspiration by visiting the traveling Sketchbook Swap Exhibition.
