About

Studio Member since 2024

Born in 1998, Emory “Emo” Jones generates intricate drawings on paper that are rich with insight into his world. Primarily working in graphite and marker, Jones draws inspiration from comic books, music, and film. Concepts range from realistic portrayals of his favorite artists to comic strips of Purple Man with reinvented story lines.  Emory captures his subject matter precisely and with much attention to detail.

“I love art work. I love comic books. Emo is my nickname. That’s my granny who did that. I love movies.  A lot of DVDs. Nipsey Hussle, XXXTentacion, Juice WRLD, Pop Smoke, Purple Man. Everybody Loves Emory is my story based on a true story in West Virginia Suncrest Middle School and Morgan Town.”
