Combined Federal Campaign (#12865)

Do you have a friend or family who works for the federal government? Please consider letting them know why you think Arts of Life is a great nonprofit to support through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

Each year federal employees and retirees make a commitment to the nonprofit sector through this charitable giving drive. Launched by President Kennedy in 1961, the CFC is one of the largest programs of its kind in the world.

This year the campaign runs through January 15, 2024.

Give Happy CFC

Inclusive art-making is increasingly regarded as a best practice in the field of disability and an invaluable tool for promoting skill development, confidence, self-esteem, and economic participation. The arts also provide meaningful social engagement and community inclusion, which is particularly important for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. However the job opportunities available in Illinois remain extremely limited, failing to recognize potential entrepreneurial career paths for residents with disabilities. Arts of Life combats these archaic systems by supporting our artists in honing their creative practices, developing their leadership skills, showcasing their abilities, and facilitating the exhibition and sale of their artwork.
