The Arts of Life, a Chicagoland arts organization for and collaboratively run by adults with and without disabilites, is welcoming the public to their annual Awards Show Dinner and Fundraiser. This wonderful event will take place Sunday, February 16th from 5-8pm at The Kenilworth Club, 410 Kenilworth Ave, Kenilworth, IL 60043.
The 2014 Awards Show Dinner and Fundraiser is a wonderful opportunity to recognize every artist from both the Chicago and North Shore studios. Each artist will receive a unique award for their accomplishments in 2013 and showcase a piece of artwork in the event exhibition. This year, the Award Show will include a 3-course dinner provided by Rogue Philanthropy, an organization dedicated to making practical improvements in services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Each $100 ticket includes a 3-course vegetarian dinner, open bar, and most importantly, 50% of every ticket is a tax-deductible donation to The Arts of Life. Event tickets and sponsorship spots are now on sale and can be purchased by contacting Emily Smith at [email protected] or by visitingartsoflife.org/2014AwardsShow. Proceeds go directly to supporting The Arts of Life, which is celebrating fourteen years of empowering people to create an amazing artistic and personal vision for their community.
Thank you to our sponsors- Rogue Philanthropy, The Kenilworth Club, Woman Made Gallery, Domenic Bucci, and more to be announced!###The Arts of Life is an art studio comprised of people with and without disabilities creating an artistic culture to realize their full potential. Founded in 2000 by an artist with an intellectual disability and a professional in the field of social work, The Arts of Life was the first program in Chicago to provide employment in the arts for adults with developmental disabilities. The studio serves as both an alternative day program and creative epicenter for its artists. The Arts of Life will continue to be characterized by their dedication to the studio artists and excellence in the field of developmental disabilities. Information at artsoflife.org
