UNITY will be showcasing their first-ever virtual fashion show on May 29, 2021. Centered around the theme of “rediscovery,” the show aims to tell a story around reflecting and redefining our style during the pandemic. According to the planners, “We also hope to introduce newly rising, women-owned, or sustainable clothing brands that allow us to discover a better, responsible way to love fashion.”
The 30-minute show will feature designer introductions, a student model catwalk with various dance and music performances, followed by a silent auction with items curated by our very own creative team. All proceeds with benefit Arts of Life.
The UNITY Charity Fashion Show celebrates fashion, philanthropy, and diversity at Northwestern University. We are an organization formed by cosponsorships, bringing together NU’s premiere organizations to plan the largest fashion event on campus.
Members of the UNITY Student Organization at Northwestern University come from diverse backgrounds and represent an array of ethnicities and special interests. We are unified under one cause: embrace and celebrate who we are, together. Evenmore, the Unity Charity Fashion Show aims to spread this positive mentality to others in need around the world. All fundraising and ticket proceeds support our selected charity.
In years past, we’ve collaborated with Urban Outfitters, The North Face, Cynthia Rowley, and other brands. We also support young talent and emerging designers and showcase their unique collections on the runway.
