Join the Arts of Life North Shore on Friday, October 10th for the opening reception of “Expressions from the Heart” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St., Evanston.The exhibition features over 100 works of art which celebrate and recognize the creativity of people with emotional, psychological and developmental disabilities. The extraordinary skill and imagination demonstrated in their art is at once startling and inspirational. The selected works come from the following organizations: Project Onward, Little City, The Arts of Life, and Equestrian Connection Art Therapy.During the event, wine and dessert will be served. Admission to the reception and exhibition is free and open to the public. All artwork will be for sale.“Expressions from the Heart” will be on display at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center through Wednesday, November 5. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
