We’re back! As if this year couldn’t get any spicier, we are ready to crank up the heat and make all of November the Month of Chili.
For 11 straight years Arts of Life has brought you the Chili Cook Off, and just because we can’t all be in the studio this year doesn’t mean we’re going to let you down now.
We hope you and all your loved ones will join us for one of our many virtual opportunities and celebrate one of our most successful fundraising events of the year.
NOVEMBER 5: First up, we are launching our first ever Chili Cook Cookbook with recipes from judges, contestants, and friends near and far. Available digitally on November 5th or for hard copy pre-order, featuring traditional chilis and other scrumptous ways to eat chili peppers.
NOVEMBER 13: Learn from one of the best in the biz in a hands-on Chili Cooking Class with Chris Reed of Bumbu Roux. Reed will teach us to cook his first place Chili Cook Off chili and homemade cornbread. You’ll have a chance to ask questions in real time as Chef Reed takes us through his recipes step by step. For local folks, we’ll even deliver the fresh ingredients right to your door to ensure you have everything you could possibly need!
THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER: Last but certainly not least we’re partnering with restaurants throughout the city to bring you chili! First up is Johnny’s Kitchen and Tap in Glenview followed by some surprises from our neighbors in west town and beyond! Stay tuned and know wherever you dine you’ll be supporting Arts of Life and a wonderful local restaurant!
