More Than One Way to Give

The joy and magic of Arts of Life and all of our programming is made possible by a wide array of supporters who give what they can to help our artists flourish. We rely on donations to keep the lights on, pay our bills, and support the staff and 60+ artists that Arts of Life serves, but that doesn’t mean that monetary gifts are the only way to contribute. We are so grateful to the many donors and partners who contribute products and supplies throughout the year that make our events sparkle and artwork shine. 

Recently a few standout companies stepped in to make a significant impact on our recent fundraising efforts with their in-kind donations. 

Dynamism, Chicago Printworks, FieldNotes, Document, and CH Distillery are a few local companies that made our recent Art of the Heist event a success. By providing shipping and printing services along with in-kind product donations, these partners helped to ensure that attendees’ generosity would directly impact our artists instead of underwriting the event itself.

Dynamism’s Aaron Morris shared that “supporting Arts of Life is a no brainer for a company like ours. Community engagement and supporting the arts is vital to our operations and we are honored to get the opportunity to support an organization as uniquely impactful as Arts of Life. 

Looking beyond our recent fundraiser, KOVAL Distillery has donated gallons upon gallons of hand sanitizer to keep our community safe as we returned to the studios. And individuals have donated their skills to make wooden tables for our artists’ individual work stations, retile the floor in our North Shore gallery, and so much more.

We thank each and every in-kind donor who has helped to provide important products and services that keep our community working. As we continue to make a steady rebound and reemerge from the covid lockdown, we are hoping to build upon relationships both past and present, while also forging new partnerships that help our organization to grow.
