Chicago Studio Volunteer Spotlight: Tasha Vos!

Tasha Vos is a brand new volunteer with The Arts of Life, though she’s jumped in right away and found her stride in the community!  The artists clearly appreciate her calm & happy demeanor along with all the goals she helps our community to achieve! Let’s take a minute to hear from Tasha on how things are going: How did you get involved with the Arts of Life? I heard about Arts of Life through friends who had volunteered or attended the annual chili cook off. What is your background (School/practice)? I have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Art. My practices are textiles, sculpture, and photography. How long have you been involved with the Arts of Life? I started on November 23rd. What are some of your favorite aspects of volunteering at the Arts of Life? This community is constantly experimenting and that makes every day a small adventure. What do you like to do outside of volunteering? When I’m not volunteering I’m often tending to my terrariums or garden, cooking a spicy mulled drink, or scoping out some local art and music shows.
