#ILGiveCommunity Kicks Off Summer Leap

Save the Date as we kickoff our Summer Leap fundraising campaign on May 30th, 2017, just in time for #ILGiveCommunity!What is #ILGiveCommunity? This new state-wide 24-hour online fundraising event? (from 6pm May 30th until 6pm May 31st)? empowers individuals like you to support local nonprofits that are tackling our communities’ most critical issues.Why Should I Give Now? You have an opportunity to double or even triple the impact of your gift! Several amazingly generous funders have offered up two challenge grants – we need to raise $5,000 during #ILGiveCommunity and $15,000 total by June 30th to meet both challenges. That means if you give between May 30th at 6pm and May 31st at 6pm, your donation could be matched TWICE! Guidelines for Anonymous Foundation $15,000 Challenge MatchFrom May 30 to June 30 an Anonymous Foundation has pledged a $15,000 challenge match to The Arts of Life.  The Anonymous Foundation’s match will only fully apply to new or lapsed donors (haven’t given since August 2014).For active donors, it’ll match to the degree the gift exceeds the donor’s largest single donation since August 2014.What does this mean? For example: If you gave $100 in 2014 and increase this amount and donate $150 in 2016, the increased amount ($50) will be matched from May 30 to June 30. The good news is that this incentive is open to all donors, recurring and new!
