A Moment With Christianne

Today, I interviewed my friend Christianne about her artwork.

Please tell me what you’re working on.
“I’m working on my mandalas.”

What art materials are you using?
“I’m using markers and oil pastels for outlining and sketching.”

What inspired you to make this piece?
“I wanted to be able to learn new things and practice peace. I pray for people, and I wanted to learn more about the Jewish religion. I added my own artwork to the mandalas.”

Is this piece part of a series, or does it stand alone?
“Yes, it is part of a series. Through the process of sketching, I am able to express and understand my feelings.”

Can you teach me the process of making this?
“I outline first, add details, color it in, then outline in black.”
