Omar Abulsheikh’s personal artistic style is punctuated with a sense of whimsy. However, the forms within his narratives are created with heavy marks and bold forms that belie the lighthearted content.

Abulsheikh’s paintings develop slowly as he carefully layers paint to achieve a desired hue. His work is further identifiable through textures built up during this layering process.
