Arts of Life to Receive a $150,000 Arts Work Fund THRIVE Grant
Arts of Life is thrilled to receive a three-year $150,000 grant through Arts Work Fund’s new THRIVE grant program. The grant will provide general operating support over three years to increase our sustainability and visibility.
According to Arts Work Fund, the 34 grantees are deeply rooted in their communities, actively reflect and respond to their community’s cultural needs and wants, and ensure that all people have opportunities to engage with art that is meaningful to them. Together, they bring forth a tapestry of talent, passion, and innovation that will shape the future of the arts in our city.
“Our community deeply appreciated this remarkable investment in our artists’ careers,” said Executive Director Denise Fisher. “This type of multi-year support will allow us to develop new professional development partnerships and exhibition opportunities; bolster our staff structure; and support a greater number of artists with I/DD across Chicago-land.”
