The Arts of Life is pleased to announce a group exhibition at the Glenview Public Library! Join us for live art talks with the exhibiting artists on November 28th from 6-7pm. Conversations will focus on the ways the artists have challenged themselves through their art making practices.
“Artists with disabilities should not be defined by them. My vision is to point out that we may have disabilities and challenges that go along with it, but we are also artists who are capable of overcoming other obstacles. My work challenges me. This exhibition will challenge you not to see my disability first. I don’t like being called an artist with a disability, I am an artist. I am an artist outside of your comfort zone. My disability doesn’t define me. Let’s focus on the art.” Cole Fox, North Shore studio artist
The exhibit will be on view during scheduled library hours from November 17th through January 9th. This event is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there!
