Outside of the Box

November 9, 2014 – November 9, 2014

Being a man of culture is no easy feat. However, artist Quinn Zenner seems to have it down to a science. It is at The Arts of Life in Glenview, a non profit arts studio for adults with and without developmental disabilities, where Quinn spends his time creating artwork inspired by famous artists, architects, and musicians. His compositions frequently fuse colorful imagery with his own poetry, combining his love for art and verse onto the canvas. About his work, Zenner states, “I honor my emotions as they evolve and flow in the body. It affects my mood and personality and that goes into my art. I am more outside of the box than inside the box.”For his first solo exhibition, rightfully titled, “Outside of the Box,” twelve of his most significant works will be proudly on display for the entire month of November at the Unicorn Café in Evanston. Please join the artist for an opening reception on Saturday, November 8th from 6-8pm. All artwork will be for sale. This event is free and is open to the public. The Unicorn Café is located at 1723 Sherman Ave, Evanston, IL 60201
