Health Matters at The Chicago Studio!

After the break, The Arts of Life Chicago Studio will be participating in the Health Matters program! We are excited to learn all sorts of new techniques and tips to stay healthy and fit. Here are some great tips to consider for the summer break:

  • Drink water to stay hydrated! Water keeps the skin healthy.
  • Eat salad to stay energized and feel great! Eat some carrots, corn, or any vegetables.
  • Make sure to exercise and do yoga! These are important activities.
    Some yoga poses include Monkey pose, Cobra, Downward Dog, Warrior One, Happy Baby, Chair pose, Boat pose, Tree pose, and Diamond pose.
  • Meditation and stretches are also important! Meditation involves deep breaths in and deep breaths out. I like to sit in a “reach for your toes” position when meditating and practicing deep breathing.
  • Aerobics and dancing are very good for health as well. Belly dancing, Zumba, and Aberaga dance are all great options!
  • Practicing your balance is important. Some ways to practice balance include Tree pose (a yoga move!), biking, and walking on a curb with arms stretched out.
