The Arts of Life Thanksgiving 2015: What a Party!

Thanksgiving is a time for being thankful for who we are: wise, healthy, generous and creative people.  And it is a time to bring the Arts of Life family together!  We had the North Shore studio join us to celebrate last month.  It was really great to see John and Sara and the kids!  I want to give a shout-out to Hilary too, and all the artists who joined us.  Thanksgiving is a special opportunity to be together, and that doesn’t happen very often.   Our celebration was sponsored by the Schweitzer Fellowship program.  The Schweitzer Fellows had lots of activities for us, including drawing trees, making paper pumpkins, and ornaments.  I liked meeting them and introducing them to the studio.  They were kind and helped us with our crafts.  They joined us for the meal and we ate til our bellies were full.   We had plenty of food.  Chef Chao and his team cooked for us and served up a great lunch.  We had menus to pick the food we wanted. My favorite was the Turkey, Stuffing, and Mashed Sweet Potatoes!  I give them two thumbs up! Thank you to everyone  who made this event possible!  It was lots of fun and I’m looking forward to it next year!! -Mike
