Meet Our Artists
We were founded with the idea that the studio belongs to its artists. The guiding principle behind our studio is to give people an opportunity to shape and be a member of an artistic community; a community that changes with the growing needs of the artists and one that is a contributing member of the larger society.
Join Our Studio
Arts of Life offers artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities an alternative career path designed to help enrich their lives as working artists.

We’re honored to have Kate Sierzputowski as a contributor to our book! A longtime supporter of Arts of Life, we’re particularly grateful for Kate’s consistent presence in Chicago’s art scene this week with @expochicago and @barely_fair
Kate wrote about collaborators David Kreuger and Ben Marcus and the wonderful world of Love Man. Here’s a sneak peek. Get your copy today for more! (link in bio)
“Love Man’s words are pulled verbatim from snippets of Marcus and Krueger’s conversations while at work together at the studio. The direct and whimsical questions act as a stand-in for the most bold parts of Krueger. The off-the-cuff remarks are meant to disarm, playfully asking light questions to get to the deeper aspects of desire, friendship, and daily existence.”
Kate is a curator, writer, and arts organizer based in Chicago, IL. Her work focuses on presenting artists’ practices outside their typical confines—curating exhibitions in vases, on ears, and at miniature scale. Using scale as an inclusive tool, Kate co-founded the international miniature art fair BARELY FAIR in 2019 to promote under-recognized arts spaces alongside her co-directors at Julius Caesar. Currently, she serves as Artistic Director at EXPO CHICAGO where she oversees the fair`s programming — collaborating with partners across the world to present panel discussions as part of the fair’s /Dialogues and VIP Exchange Stage programs and bringing international curators and directors to Chicago each year for a series of aligned peer networking initiatives.

✨ Thank you to everyone who came out for the opening reception of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! at Patient Info! ✨
We are so proud of Noel Herrera and his first solo exhibition! He had a great time with Coca-Cola and Doritos in hand🤚Happy, thumbs up👍
A big thank you to Brian Jucas as well for curating Noel’s work in such a fun space. The quirkiness of a former Dermatologist Office is such a fun setting for Noel’s playful, inventive, and sincere work often focused on imaginative juxtapositions.
If you missed it, don’t fret, Patient Info has extended open hours this week including Thursday’s opening reception of Tacoma Sculpture Park in the garage!
